Amortization Schedule Discrepancy Between Primary and Secondary Accounting Books
Hi,
A journal entry was recorded with an Amortization Schedule (including Start/End Dates).
- In the Primary Accounting Book, an Amortization Schedule was created with multiple lines, corresponding exactly to the dates specified in the journal entry.
- In the Secondary Accounting Book, an Amortization Schedule was created with only a single line, using the date of the journal entry.
This behavior is not consistent, but it has occurred several times.
What could be the cause of this discrepancy?
It is important to convey that no manual changes were made to the Amortization Schedule, and the normal behavior is that the Primary and Secondary Accounting Books
