Auto-Populating Subcustomer Shipping Address on Parent Customer Transactions
We want to create Sales Orders or Quotes under a parent customer, but ship to a subcustomer’s default shipping address.
We are looking to implement a customization in our NetSuite account to enhance our sales order and quote workflows involving parent and subcustomer relationships.
Business Requirement:
When creating a Sales Order or Quote for a parent customer, we want to:
- Select a subcustomer from a custom field (this subcustomer represents the intended Ship-To entity).
- Automatically populate the Ship-To address on the transaction using the subcustomer's default shipping address.
- Keep the transaction under the parent customer (for billing and invoicing purposes), but fulfill and ship based on the subcustomer’s location.
Best regards,
Scott Kouri
