Calculate Accumulated quantity USAGE across subscription term
Dear SuiteBilling expert
I have a question regarding accumulated usage vs monthly usage with affect on the price.
My customer requirement for a usage-based pricing scenario, specifically the ability to calculate total accumulated usage in a Year-to-Date (YTD) mode.
The customer needs a tiered pricing structure based on total accumulated usage over the subscription's initial term (e.g., one year):
- Example: A usage rate of 15 applies until the customer's total accumulated usage reaches 1000 units.- Once the accumulated usage hits 1000 units (e.g., mid-August), the rate for all subsequent usage for that subscription line should automatically drop to 12.
Is there a way in SuiteBilling to track and monitor the accumulated usage across the subscription term, allowing the pricing rate to automatically adjust (reduce) once a specified usage threshold is met?
