System Notes for Upgrades
Currently, when NetSuite applies upgrades or patches, the System Notes show my user account as the person who implemented the change.
From a governance and audit perspective, this makes it difficult to clearly distinguish:
- changes made by internal administrators, and
- changes delivered as part of an Oracle-managed NetSuite release by Oracle.
Is there a supported way to amend this behaviour so that System Notes clearly identify the change as an Oracle / NetSuite update, rather than attributing it to a named internal user?
Alternatively, are there recommended best practices (e.g. dedicated system accounts, configuration options, or metadata) that customers use to clearly evidence Oracle-delivered changes in System Notes or related audit logs?
