How to clear an inventory item when there is no stock, but there is a value

An inventory adjustment was done in July last year for transactions that were in 2023.

However, due to the cost field being rounded in the inventory adjustment, this left a value of against the item.

What is the correct way of handling this? I need to make the value 0.

A journal entry?

An item receipt then item fulfillment?

Inventory revaluation is not a possibility for this account.
