Tax not calculating on Sales Order created via REST Web Service
Hi Everyone,
We are facing an issue with tax calculation on Sales Orders created using the standard NetSuite REST API.
Issue Description:
- We are creating Sales Orders through the standard REST API.
- The Sales Order record is created successfully.
- All required header and line-level details related to tax (customer, item, subsidiary, location, shipping/billing address, etc.) are provided.
- However, tax is not being calculated automatically on the Sales Order.
Additional Details:
- We are using SuiteTax.
- When the same Sales Order is created manually through the NetSuite UI with identical data, tax is calculated correctly.
- When created via REST API, the tax amount remains zero / not calculated.
