Is it possible to script the upload of a bank statement import file?

Scenario:
- NetSuite SFTP Suiteapp is used to download files from the bank
- These are stored in the filing cabinet
- The bank statement parser Suitebundle is used to 'read' the received files. A financial institution profile record is set up with the mapping
Question:
- how would the received file be uploaded as a bank statement import using a script? Since bank statement imports are not a regular CSV import type.
