FAM (Fixed Assets) How to Record Mid-life or non-midlife Leases

Hi,

Do you know if for a finance lease asset, we need to create the asset record as well?
I'm under the impression that we need to post the interest charge in NetSuite and no depreciation, because we don't own the asset and so the depreciation should not hit our ledgers.

Please let me know your thoughts.
