Mass Update using a saved search

I need to deactivate all vendors with no PO or bill in the last year. I created a saved search but don't see where to use it in the Mass Update feature. Help notes reference doing this; has it changed?

If I can't use a saved search anymore, does anyone have an idea how I can enter the necessary criteria in the mass update? The saved search uses the Maximum function under the summary section; that doesn't exist in Mass Update.
