Post a customerPayment with not-null Payment Method via REST API

I am creating the payment via REST API's customerPayment endpoint.

When passing a value for the paymentMethod field of the customerPayment, the payment record is created inside NetSuite, but it still lacks the Payment Method.

During testing, I found that I can use "paymentOption" and this field will be pushed via REST API, but "paymentMethod" will not.

Also, the response in the Post or Patch requests says that the field is unknown for the record instance (when using the paymentMethod field).

How the "PAYMENT METHOD" can filled via the REST API?

Or is there any workaround?
