How to remove a custom preference from General Preferences that was added form a Script Parameter

I added a script parameter and set the Preference to Company. This enabled the customer administrator to set the preference within General Preferences in the Custom Preference section.

Later on, we determined the preference would not be required and I removed the script parameter. However, the Custom Preference is still there.

How do I remove the unused Custom Preference?
