Decimal Limit Specification for Percent Field Type
Scenario & Issue: When we input a value with more than 4 decimal places, such as 43.284703%, into a Percent field on a Sales Order and save the record, then the value was saved as automatically rounded to 4 decimal places (43.2847%).
Questions:
- Is it a standard NetSuite specification (Working as Designed) that the Percent field type cannot save or display more than 4 decimal places?
- I reviewed the official documentation regarding custom fields (link below), but I could not find explicit information regarding this specific decimal limitation. Could you please confirm if this is the intended system behavior and let me know if there is any hidden documentation or SuiteAnswers article regarding this?Reference:
