Is there an email or character limit for invoices using To Be Emailed?

We use To Be Emailed on the invoice record to send invoices and are considering to expand this to more email recipients if the customer requests (currently we send to 1 or 2 email addresses). Is there a limit to the number of email addresses or a character limit for this field that we need to be aware of? Any difference if issuing single invoices or bulk billing? I cannot find any documention on this.
