SuiteTax Issues: Mass Updating Tax Item Type + Louisiana Economic Development Zones

Hi everyone,

I’m in the middle of a SuiteTax implementation and running into two frustrating issues. Hoping the gurus can help.

1. Mass Updating Tax Item Type

I cannot update the Tax Item Type field on existing items.

  • It does not appear as a mappable field during CSV Import (even when using Items > Inventory Item).
  • It does not show up in Saved Search results for Inline Edit.

I’ve tried custitem_taxitemtype, searching for “Tax Item Type”, etc. with no luck. Has anyone successfully mass-updated this field after enabling SuiteTax? What’s the current best workaround?
