create mid-life lease without a source transaction.
Upon creation of a Lease Record (which is being done manually) and checking the box “Mid-life Lease”, the system marks the “Transaction” field as Mandatory. The “Transaction” field does not allow the selection of a Journal that was posted back on 1-st of April, 2022
As the result, the “Mid-life Lease” box was unchecked, and then, “Saved”.
Right after that, while being in editing mode, the Lease Amortization Schedule was generated.
The problem is that Lease Depreciation Schedule was generated starting from March 2022 to March 2032.
Meaning, that the first Depreciation for the Lease Record will have the Accumulated Depreciation Amount starting from March 2022. Simply put, it will double the BS Account balances.
