The Map/Reduce script automatically generates the journal entry when the user executes Asset Depreciation under Fixed Assets > Transactions.
In the journal entry's System Information, the creator is displayed as Script (Map/Reduce). However, the Created By field shows my name, which I believe is because the script is executed under my Administrator role.
Questions:
1)Which script is responsible for running this task and generating the depreciation journal entry?
2) Is it possible to change the "Created By" value from my employee name to a generic username or system account in the script? If so, how can this be configured?
3) If changing the "Created By" value is not possible, what alternative approach would you recommend to address this issue?
