MRP and Inventory Status

We have an Inventory Status named "Invisible" that is used to hold inventory we do not want available for any transactions. The current behavior successfully prevents transactions, but it also excludes that inventory from MRP planning.

Our goal is to keep this inventory unavailable for all transactions while still allowing MRP to consider it during supply planning. We noticed the "Make Inventory Available for Allocation and Planning" option, which appears to make the inventory visible to MRP. However, the description suggests it would also make the inventory available for allocation, which is not desirable.

Is there a way to make inventory visible to MRP for planning purposes while keeping it completely blocked from allocations and all other transactions?
