These Guidelines apply to your use of the Oracle Communities and must be read together with the Oracle Terms of Use and the Community Integrity Policy (together the “Terms”). The Terms form part of Oracle’s commitment to safeguard the data integrity of its worldwide customer base.
As an Oracle Community member, you play an important part in keeping our Communities vibrant and safe for all of our members. This list is not exhaustive. But rather than looking for loopholes, we ask that you respect the intent behind these guidelines. The Community Integrity Policy sets out the consequences if a member does not comply with any one of the guidelines below. Repeated violations of these guidelines will not be tolerated.
In short
Follow the Terms. Your activity on the Oracle Communities’ sites is subject to these Community Guidelines, the Oracle Terms of Use and the Community Integrity Policy.
Visit our Community Integrity Policy. Learn more about how we enforce the Terms and how to appeal a decision.
Report violations. If you see content that violates the Terms, please report it to us by using the ‘Flag’ icon near the content itself.
Protect Your Privacy and Respect the Privacy of Others.
Do not post sensitive or confidential personal details, or other types of confidential information, about yourself or others. While we strongly believe that the Oracle Communities are a safe place to share information and practices, it is always wise to exercise caution when providing personal details or confidential information in any online forum. Do not post in your threads and responses: emails, postal addresses, phone numbers, custom URLs, IP addresses, passwords, log files or other types of sensitive or confidential personal details or confidential information.
Keep it Professional.
Abusive, disparaging, derogatory, inflammatory, inappropriate, harmful, obscene, offensive, or violent content is strictly forbidden.
No solicitation.
The Oracle Communities must not be used to solicit third-party goods or services, or to publish recruitment-type announcements, job postings or promotions such as using promotional materials as a user avatar.
Respect Intellectual Property.
Do not post content that violates a copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right held by someone else such as source code. We will remove such content if we discover it, or upon the request of the rights holder. To learn more, please review our Copyright and Intellectual Property policy.
Be authentic.
Do not share misleading or false information, or use the Communities dishonestly or to deceive (including cheating or manipulating the rewards systems, or evading account suspensions) or misuse the Communities sites (such as repeatedly posting identical or substantially similar posts in one or multiple forums or persistently posting off topic queries in the answer section to an unrelated thread).
Oracle University Certification Exam & MyLearn Lab Questions/Answers.
The Oracle Certification Program Guidelines and Oracle Certification Candidate Agreement strictly prohibit the sharing and/or soliciting of any Oracle Certification exam or MyLearn Lab questions and/or answers. By using the Oracle NetSuite Support Community, you agree that you shall not: (i) contribute to, or use, any materials pertaining to Oracle Certification exams; nor (ii) disclose (verbally or in writing or in any media) the contents of any Oracle Certification Exam or request any other individual to undertake such disclosures.
Gamification/Points/Rewards
If it is perceived by administrators that your behaviors are intended to “game” the rewards system, your account is subject to termination.
