An unnecessary Undeposited Funds line on the Deposit page

We have an unnecessary Undeposited Funds line from a journal entry transaction on the Deposit page (Transactions > Bank > Make Deposits) .

The debit amount = 608.80 with account = 12140 Undeposited Funds journal line was entered for balancing our account within the 2020 year. I found this article about the Cash Back option which can remove this transaction from the deposit list.

However, we cannot use this feature due to our account will be unbalanced. We tried to create additional journal entry with amount 608.80 in a CREDIT column but this transaction didn’t appear in the deposit list:
