Escenario
En algunos casos, los lectores de PDF no pueden presentar caracteres chinos, por lo que aparece en blanco al verlo.
Solución
Una solución para esto es intentar usar un lector PDF diferente o instalar un paquete de fuentes que admita caracteres chinos. Un ejemplo es instalar "Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Font Pack (Continuous)" para Adobe Reader, que se puede descargar aquí.
