Una nota de crédito es una transacción que reduce el importe que un cliente le debe.
Puede usar una nota de crédito para revertir un cargo que facturó a un cliente. Por ejemplo, un cliente devuelve parte de una orden después de haber emitido una factura. Introduzca una nota de crédito para reducir el importe de esta factura de venta abierta.
Una nota de crédito creada a partir de una autorización de devolución no afecta al inventario; sin embargo, una nota de crédito independiente sí afecta al inventario.
