Forcing the calc to treat as measure might help. Eg: sum(0) + <my calc>. Using a aggregate function wrapping for the calc will treat it as a measure in most cases.

Hello, We are actively working on the image support with Layout templates - allow user to persist canvas layout with image visualizations, image backgrounds on viz / canvas. Its planned for 1H 2025.
