I totally agree with this post. Every time we have a patch it is such a pain and huge manual effort. Every patch especially related to table changes, BI reports have to be analyzed each and every time manually. Same thing on OTBI, although some info at high level is in release notes, we literally gotta check everything…

This would be very helpful to especially be ready for patches

This would be great if Oracle would provide this functionality. Audit ability is very important to any institution
-
This would be extremely helpful for Rutgers along with many other institutions.

This would benefit us greatly

I agree with this. Anytime we filter by segment tree filter, performance is greatly impacted. It would also be great if there was index on description (name) of the code since performance is also severely impacted when filtering on name instead of code.

Hi, Please see attached archive file. Use this as example Two columns in query: (Using Projects Cross Subject Area) Project Number Formula: "Project"."Project Number" Project ID: CAST("Project"."Project Key" as CHAR) ^^For above note you can hide this column in your output as in the example. In order to edit the drill down…

I'm not sure if this still works, but I had a note from a colleague a long while back specific to BI Reports Here is the workaround to circumvent count restriction within SQL IN clause. For some reason if you put 0 on both sides, it works. Select * from xx_table Where (col_name,0) IN ( ('abc',0), (‘abc1’,0), ------ any…

Hi, I would suggest looking at this documentation: https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/project-management/23a/fapca/deep-links-for-project-management.html#s20076969

Hi, From the manage project cost area, click on "Tasks" on right hand side, then select "Manage Committed Costs" In that screen use the "Project Name" use the drop down arrow, then click search, it will also pop up and allow you to search by the project number. Then click search to return the results. What you see in here…

also going to attach archive for otbi analysis that we having been using for 5+ years without issue. You may need to tweak a bit for your needs, but this has been able to supply matching/accurate info. Project Commitment Report.zip

Hi, Total committed costs should give you the balance including the spend down. That should match what you see in manage committed costs screen. Each time invoice comes in against PO, the total committed cost should be reduced as each comes in. Once fully invoiced, or po finally closed it will disappear from manage…

Just realized, I think you should try a different measure in your query "- Commitment Cost Measures"."Total Committed Cost" (In commitment cost measures folder) I think that is actually the issue :)

Hi, Under projects (same area as manage project costs), looks at "Managed Committed Costs" search by project # to view the commitments Looks at both Raw Cost and Burdened cost. If there is a bigger amount in burdened cost, that includes the burden amount. You also may need to look from the award side, sometimes there is an…

Hi, Most likely from project side, it includes the "Burden" Amount. If you look at the PO from main inquiry screen, you would have to look at budgetary control area to see the amount reserved for burden on project. So for example if project have 55% multiple, a PO for $1 would also have $.55 cents added for burden amount.…

sounds like a good case for SR. they will ask you to provide nqquery logs/etc but that may be best approach since it worked in the past. Oracle would need you to provide the logs (several ways, you can search customer connect) or SR will guide you how to provide the detail. Last time I did have this issue was the query…

For anyone who sees this, please upvote my ER: https://community.oracle.com/customerconnect/discussion/663313/need-otbi-subject-area-for-project-cost-journal-workflow-approval

Thank you so much. Will be creating idea lab.

You may want to look at the "BI" audit reports. They are provided by Oracle (either here or in SR). These are the standard reports, I believe BIPCatalogObjectAuditTrail would give detail you are looking for.
