Ability to access/download Diagnostic Logs from BIP Scheduler for repeated runs as per schedule

We scheduled a Fusion BIP report by choosing "Enable SQL Explain Plan" and "Enable Data Engine Diagnostic" in Diagnostic tab and submitted it for daily "once" run. I was able to download the logs from "Report Jobs" for the next 5 days once the report schedule ran.
However, from the 6th day onwards the download button suddenly disabled (please note that the configuration is same and untouched). 

The Diagnostic logs are only available on "run immediately" basis and are not available for Scheduled BIP reports (for repeated runs). We would like to have this feature enabled as an enhancement at least for the retention period (30 days) so that logs are available for each day run irrespective of the job status (success or failure). 

Use Case and Business Need

We need to be able to download the log file for repeated job runs for the below 2 things -
1. If we encounter a failure for a scheduled job, then we can download the log for that day and investigate. If the log is not enabled for repeated run, then we will not be able to download it for the day the job has failed.
It may happen that the same job that has failed is rerun selecting the log option from 'Diagnostics' screen and when rerun, it gets succeeded. So a success log would not help us to understand why it might have failed the last time.
2. We need to retain the log for audit purpose irrespective of success/failure as well.
