Enable HTML option in Text Box Visuals

Organization Name
Deloitte
Description
Enable HTML option in "Text Box" Visual in DV similar to classic BI.
Use Case and Business Need
Text Box Visual can be used for multiple purposes and having an HTML option will allow adding much external content which is not possible currently in DV.
HTML was hugely popular in the Classic / OBIEE platform and the same feature will allow developers to fulfill many requirements which platform can't provide out of the box.

I came here to request access to this functionality. We have a number of clients who will require HTML enabled pages in order to even consider FAW.
Thanks,

Very good idea. Added my vote.

Yes! We need this because we are spending too much time using calculated fields to hand-create HTML fields as work-around.

This is one feature that is keeping us from not fully adopting DV. Instead we are having to still use Classic analyses. Please consider bringing this functionality in DVs at the earliest.

+1 to this request. Also worth noting explicitly that the other value of Narrative in Classic analysis was that you could weave dynamic data points into the text, either from the subject area or based on a formula, such as including the date/time at runtime so it would be there if the content was exported/printed/etc. It would be great to have more power in the text box in self-service analytics.

This is a much needed enhancement

This is an extremely important feature for us to use the product.

Just to clarify, we need the same functionality we have in Classic BI: Wherever the text fields are used, if they contain HTML tags then they should be rendered with the formatting defined by the HTML tags. Ideally, we should also have a narrative option similar to classic BI.

we have used this extensively in classic/OBIEE. there are many things we cannot bring over to DV workbooks. we are unable to achieve a consistent look and feel for our customers at my organization until this enhancement gets implemented.
