Hello,

[apologies: original posting in the Cloud community forum but received no reply]

Is there any documentation that provides a detailed feature comparison between OBI 12c on premise and the current version of BICS?

For example, I understand combo charts and custom images are not supported in Answers in BICS, whereas in the Cloud Data Modeller there is no data model diagram view.I understand some features are arriving next month, like trend lines. It would be great if this is clearly articulated so that customers can make an informed choice.

Other areas to consider include how hierarchies work and levels (can you point different levels to different tables or multiple sources) and what the impact of a lack of initialization block support means. I'm waiting for a BICS environment to be provisioned so will be able to find out the long way soon - but would rather not reinvent the wheel!
