This is a must have. Good suggestion. Have been a pain every time we use BIP.

We will review the enhancement request. There is no commitment or timeline at this time.

Thank you for the interim update.

After further review, there is no plan to update row limits for data model preview. The current limit provides a safeguard against potential stability and performance issues as queries are made synchronously for preview.

@Alan Lee - Oracle-Oracle - Thanks for the update and sorry for delayed response on it.
a) I am not sure about the stability issues here just to get a 200-rows set from the datamodel whereas a large amount of rows can be extracted through report. Considering there is no direct connecton to Fusion DBs (like SQL-Developer), it helps massively. Anywyas, can the limit be increased little more than 5 rows? Maybe 10 at-least?
b) How about changing the defaul option of 'treeview' to 'table'? Does it have any stability issues? If so, I would like to understand/learn more about it.
I am sure Oracle would have gone through the comments from Oracle community users about its desirability and how this little trick helps in saving good amount of time during the devevelopment process.
Happy to share any additional information.
thanks,
Santosh

Can you please consider atleast defaulting the view option to table?
Thanks.

Sorry I never got an opportunity to look at this post earlier. I would not necessarily agree about limiting rows of 200 but can we have an option on the View. Mostly (or everyone) will use 'Table View' so request you to consider at-least this option in the future releases.
