Description
While exporting formatted data to Excel or in email deliveries, the data in Excel stops at max rows permitted. This is very misleading, as users might think it is the entire date set. We request Oracle to make an enhancement to include some message like 'Could not export more than <99999> rows' in the o/p file after reaching the max rows.
Use Case and Business Need
We recently migrated from 11g on prem to OAC. Our OAC environment is 4 OCPUs and while delivering an Agent's o/p thru email, the Excel(formatted) o/p is just showing 25K rows. If the actual dataset has more than 25K rows, we want a message to indicate that the formatted o/p is displaying partial records.
We did not have this problem in on-prem. As we are showing partial data to business from OAC due to row limits, we want to give them a headsup. Or else, the information we present from OAC is misleading to business users.
