extractprojects in OBIEE 11g

Question

Hi All,

I am using OBIEE 11.1.1.7 Client tool in my local. And trying to use extractprojects tool( from C:\Program Files\OBIEE11.1.1.7.150120\oraclebi\orahome\bifoundation\server\bin) to extract a required project from Out of box 7.9.6.4 rpd

Somehow I am not able to open the tool, it opens and closes instantly.

Is there any bug or Do I need to use OBIEE server to use that tool.?

Oracle document says, we can use client tool also.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try running it from the command line and have the OBIApps RPD and the output (trimmed) RPD in the same folder as the script ...
