Freeze or Hide Columns/Rows in Pivot/Table
Organization Name (Required - If you are an Oracle Partner, please provide the organization you are logging the idea on behalf of):
GSO
Description (Required):
Freeze or Hide columns in OAC pivot table visualizations like in Excel.
Use Case and Business Need (Required):
When you have a pivot table visualization with multiple rows, it will be useful to have the freeze column feature available. For example if you want to compare some rows, in order to search for each one, you can freeze them.
Also, if for the moment there are some columns or rows not necessarly, there will be great to have the hide feature available and just display them on the future.

Hiding columns is supported in the product. You right click on a column in the grammar edge and hide it from the UI view (note that the hidden columns affect the grain of the query).
Freezing columns is not available as a feature yet in Table - reopening this idea lab to support this ask.
Note: in Pivot, row/columns are frozen by default on large pivots.

Please add freezing the top row as a feature in Oracle DV, I have seen many people ask for this feature over the years and on different posts.
