Import Essbase Cube into Administrator Tool

Hi,

i am trying to import essbase cube into admin tool.

SO I was getting 'admin tool could not load the essbase driver' . So I installed essbase client in the system.

so environment variables are created. But because of admin rights I could not update bi-init.bat file to add variables.

Any body provide me the batch file where i can add env variables and connect to essbase with admin tool?

Hello,

When you get that is because you dont have the essbase driver which is inside Essbase Client:

Please follow these steps:

0. Download your Oracle BI Client, check the version of your Oracle BI Server.

1. Intall the Client Oracle BI Client 32/ 64 bits: biee_client_install_x64.exe ( It depends on your OS/ to my case was 64 bits)

2. Download your Oracle EPM Client

3. This step is optional, just to ensure our Essbace Client works fine.

Go to your path C:\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\products\Essbase\EssbaseClient\bin

And execute LOGIN command in the Essbase client as link (https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E12032_01/doc/epm.921/html_techref/esscmd/login.htm) says

4. Rename your bi_init.bat to get a backup

5. Setting up your bi_init.bat

6. Open your Oracle BI Admin Tool, in Online mode

7. Import the Essbase cube.
