Hi Amrit , what type of custom data do you have in Cloud HCM ? What fields have you stored this data in ? Are there any DFFs used to store this data ?

Hi Nupur,
I am looking for the DFFs and EFFs and the historical data that we have in Oracle HCM Cloud.
Thanks and Regards,
Amrit

Hi Amrit ,
Certain DFFs are supported Out of the box in the product. Can you please share which DFFs and EFFs you intend to bring in the warehouse ?

Hi @Amrit,
As Nupur mentioned, certain DFF's are available OOTB with FAW. If not, you would have to identify the VO object the DFF is available in, and, then create a data augmentation(using FAW console) to pull in the data. In some cases, you would also have the ability to select the Subject Area you would want to extend, and, the table automatically gets added to the subject area as well.

Hi @Amrita Gupta-Oracle could you please share the document that details about data augmentation related to EFFs. i can identify the view objects related to my EFFs but when i use it and select the columns i need to add. it fails with a very basic error "This Augmentation is rejected since at least one attribute selected in this datastore is not supported for extraction. Please de-select some of the attributes and retry". This error message does not help identifying the columns that is not extractable. Is there a way to identify if an EFF column is extractable or not?

Below is the oracle documentation related to data augmentation.
Also, have you selected the options as below -
However, for the error that you are facing, the best option would be to raise a SR with support. Since we cannot view the logs, troubleshooting the error is also not possible.
