OBIEE & Essbase Security Integration

OBIEE 11.1.1.7 / Essbase 11.2.4

We are using the EssLoginAs API out of Essbase to impersonate an Essbase user in OBIEE and utilize the existing data filters created in Essbase within OBIEE reporting. In the connection pool in the repository we have enabled "Shared Login" and "SSO" for the WebLogic user.

When creating a new analysis in Answers OBIEE is complaining about "weblogic user does not exist in Essbase." This makes sense as weblogic is not an Essbase user. Do we need to create this use in Essbase. What other configuration is need to make the security work in OBIEE.
