Obiee Action Link for Navigating to BI content.

Question

Dear All.

I have a Parent Report where month Range is the Prompt, which is having Presentation variable (e.g. M). I am giving a hyperlink to one Column of Parent Report and Passing the values to Child Report. But I want to use the same presentation variable in Child Report Column Edit formula, its not giving me the output.

The month column is prompted so i am able to pass the prompted Month Range, but I want to use that Prompted Month Range value as a Presentation Variable in Child Report.

How can I achieve this functionality?

Hi..

I got the problem, the variable will be passed and we can use the variable in analysis only if we are building the Action Link Report as Dashboard.

Would you able to set filter using month variable? the month column not set to prompted , set it to using presentation variable with correct operator through "Add More Options"
