Logical dimention has measures

Hi,

we have logical domention time.

in that i have levels year, qtr,month,day.

i See couple of measures under year level in the hierarchy.

anyone tell me how dows that measure work for year and lower levels?

Hi,

these are level based measures, like for example "Yearly total sales".

Because they are fixed at the year level means the value will be always be the yearly total even at the quarter, month and day level.

It will replicate the value of the year level at all the lower levels.
