Description

Add ability to request a read receipt on bursted emails

Use Case and Business Need

It would be a nice enhancement if we could use PARAMETER9 and PARAMETER10 in the Email Burst definition in BI Publisher to set Request Read Receipt to TRUE and Request Delivery Status Notification to TRUE for our bursted email reports.

Read receipts aren’t reliable and raise privacy concerns; hence not supported in BI Publisher. Workarounds: use job/schedule notifications for delivery confirmation, or track job execution status via SOAP web services.
