Is there a way to perform set operation in VA - OBI12c ?

Beaten by Francesco but I'd like to add some things:

a) You can't because that's not the point of baked-in VA. It's an integrated tool which server a different purpose - data viz - than Answers which is the nitty-gritty detailled developer playground.

b) That mix of roles and functionalities you imply - like a business user doing data viz/discovery and stuff like SET operations is more in the realm of Data Visualization - the product - and Data Visualization Desktop.

c) In DVD for example you have 2 choices:

1) Build the SET operation analysis and then point DVD to that analysis because DVD accesses the webcat and not the BI server

2) Take the data as files and do a mini ETL with Data Flows

Set Operation are not possible. Since there is no distinction between Criteria and Result tab, there is no option to include UNIONs INTERSECTs, MINUS or UNION ALLs.
