Nope. That does not fulfill my request. That solution only suppresses identical values from subsequent Rows. It does not create a merged cell as shown in my request. Instead, it creates multiple empty cells below the first one.

Bingo, sir! That does indeed work in the 11g version of the add-in. I was working with the older 10g version that is appropriate for our version of PeopleSoft, and it behaves differently.
