BIP 11g vs BIP 12c on exporting to CSV (missing CR)

Content

Hi.

I have a simple report exporting a table with 4 attributes to a CSV file.

Layout is not a RTF Template, just created on BIP Layout editor.

File used to be like this on OBIEE/BIP11g (11.1.1.7.150120)

Creating the same report (no migration) on OBIEE BIP 12c (12.2.1.3.0) I get the following output

Carriage return is missing.

Is this the default behavior now?

Having some troubles when the file is processed by an external application.

Cheers.

    Hi Hendrik.

    Thanks for that reply.

Really just wonder if this is something they changed on purpose or a bug from 2013 which solution was not included in the latest version.

Tried to find any way to configure this in many different parts of the product. No luck.

    Cheers.

    Hi Hendrik.

    Another update on my tests.

I made a new template. This time I built an eText template in an RTF and enables outputs for text and csv.

Exporting works fine using schedule to text.

Once I change to CSV this is the result.

The Data Model option "Enable export to CSV" is disable on both cases.

    Cheers.
