BI Publisher 11G and 12C, report creation is very slow however xml file creation is quick

Hi all,

I'm experiencing an issue with BI Publisher where it has degraded in report creation performance over time for seemingly no good reason. The query and the xml file is loaded very quickly however the actual document creation is extremely slow now. It used to take about 20 seconds and now it's many minutes to return. Also this happened over time with no changes done to the BI Server. I have tried to tune it and have added memory and the CPU usage and memory look good. Also on another server containing the exact same BI Publisher install and Report, the reports run in a timely fashion.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to see how I can resolve this issue?

On further inspection. I believe that the database queries and the resultant xml file is involved. Why would this run flawlessly on another server while struggling greatly on this one? One thing to note is the report in question has about 25 queries involved in it. I ran another report with only run query and it performs in the same manner as the Production server. Where should I be looking to tune this?
