OAC Visual Analyzer and PBCS

Summary
OAC, PBCS, DVCS, PBCS
Content
Dear all
The question might have been asked already but I could not find any recent answers.
I'd like to use PBCS (BSO cube) as Data Source in OAC Visual Analyzer (and Data Visualization Desktop - DVD).
I can see that both OAC VA and DVD support Essbase as direct Data Source but I could not find anything regarding PBCS.
As far as I understood it's possible to use OAC Enterprise to create a "bridge" Subject Area on top of PBCS and then use the Subject Area in Visual Analyzer (this link summarises the functionality https://blogs.perficient.com/2017/10/13/how-to-connect-oracle-oac-to-planning-budgeting-cloud/).
Great thanks in advance

Hi Rai,
you can achieve this by defining a Subject Area (OAC Meatadata repository) pointing to PBCS. The Repository can connect directly to PBCS application. Not just the Essbase cubes but the PBCS app directly. This brief video describes the process to achieve this, hope it can help you : https://youtu.be/p2VdfdgwpL4
One note however : OAC Answers is good at adressing hierarchies queries in multidimensional context of PBCS. Powerful reports can be built there. But DV, in it's current version, will hit the challenge of manually setting all the filters for each hierarchies so to hit the right intersection in the data. The video describes this.
Hope that helps
Philippe
