I am looking for documentation as to How-To move Updates,Changes (New FACT&DIM tables and altered tables) from DEV to PROD.  The PROD was set up and has some tables in it but a lot of changes and additions have taken place.  Thanks

    Migrate Data Sync content from Non-Prod(Dev) to Prod

    Login to Non-Prod DS (Dev – NTBHI2012). Export DS metadata from DataSync à Tools à Export.

    Note: Make sure you select “Logical” and “System” when you are migrating for the first time. System option brings over connectivity and other universal settings. Subsequent migrations doesn’t need “System” option, just “Logical” will work fine.

    Copy this new export folder from Non-prod to Prod DS server.

    Make sure all the projects and mappings came over and migration was successful.

    Update all the connections so source and target connections point to Prod: 

    Go to “Connections” à Update passwords à Test connections.

    Make sure Connection’s Advanced Properties is setup correctly.

     

     

    Start running jobs.

     

    Configure email settings: Tools à Email à Setup
