Hi,

I'm trying to install BI Publisher Desktop 64bit  on windows 10 64bit  computer but it's giving error "Please use BI Publisherdesktop installer 32bit"

I was able to install 32bit bi publisher but the problem is I have 64bit MS-Office and BI Publisher ad on not visible due to BIP 32bit and office 64bit conflict. 

I have to install 64bit bi publisher. Please advise how to proceed in my case.

Please confirm if you have downloaded the BI Publisher desktop from the below URL:

https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/bi-publisher/downloads/index.html

Select "Accept License Agreement " and download BI Publisher desktop and try installation.
Also, please open MS Word and click on File > Account > About Word to check the exact version.

we have obiee Oracle Business Intelligence Product Version 11.1.1.7.150120 (Build 150111.1659 64-bit) installed in client place. and I downloaded BI Publisher desktop(OBIEE Home page-->download BI desktop tools-->Template builder for word 64bit)

Please confirm if you have downloaded BI Publisher Desktop Version 11.1.1.7 or 11.1.1.9?
Please check by downloading the correct version from the downloads page:

As per my previous post I downloaded BI Publisher 11.1.1.7 from OBIEE home page it self shown below.

Open MS Word and click on File > Account > About Word provide screenshot.

Hi Jay,

I think you may have some issues in the software version that you have already downloaded along with OBIEE, if you don't have any restrictions you can download the right version for your desktop from the Oracle and try installing it after uninstalling the older version (if any).

Have you tried to install BIpublisherdesktop32 sometimes it get supported due to many reasons.

if u run bipublisherdesktop64 R u running it as an administrator?

For Office 2016 I think bipublisherdesktop32 works fine.

If u want to go with bipublisherdesktop364

The key thing to look out for is the software (Word, JRE and additional add on)  32 bit vs. 64 bit.

Do you have the correct JRE version and 32bit or 64bit installed?

What version of Office do you have 32bit or 64 bit..

Also having the same issue with 64 bit Office 2019. I get the same error of "Please use BI Publisherdesktop installer 32bit" when trying to install bipublisherdesktop64.

I have 64 bit JRE installed. 

I can install BIpublisherdesktop32 but no toolbar appears.
