Error in customer report on "Quick Search"

When we try to use the filter "assunto" assunto means "subject" in english, on quick search the error message:

 

"The report could not be processed because it exceeds the query size limitation. Please reduce the amount of data processed by the report"

I looked the type of data of the filter on data dictionary (varchar 240) the operator used on the filter is "Complex Expression" and the type is "Run-time Selectable"... everthing loks right, but the error persists.

 

Can yoy give me any adivices about this?
