How do I schedule automatic backup of a .dva (project) file in OAC?

Content
Hello All,
I want to schedule automatic backup of a .dva (project) file in OAC. Is this possible? How would I do this?
If it is not possible to schedule automatic backup, then I would like to create manual backup of our production dva file on a weekly basis and want to save it in OAC's secure storage.
My next question is, how do I access OAC's secure storage for this?
Please let me know.
Thanks in advance,
Chethana

Hello Chethana,
You can create a snapshot (which includes data sets, projects, RPD, security setup, etc) on a weekly bases, download it to your local machine, and once downloaded you get a .BAR file which you can put in the OCI Object Storage and this would be the best way to keep your entire OAC backup in a secured manner.
Hope this helps!

Aman

and just to add you can keep up to 40 snapshots in OAC itself so no need to download it to local machine also, in case you want to rollback your instance to the previously taken snapshot you can just select the relevant one from the list and restore it.

Thanks a lot for your response Aman.
- Is it not possible to download a particular projects' dva only (I do not want any other details)
- Also, is it not possible to schedule the backup to happen automatically in OAC
Thanks and Regards,

Hello Chethana,
1.Yes, you can always export the individual project DVA's but it would be difficult to maintain sometimes because for each project there will be a separate DVA file created.
2. No, you cant schedule or create the backups automatically in OAC however you can always write custom code to automate the entire process of creating snapshots.
