I am trying to connect BI Publisher but unable to connect, I have download the BI publisher and while opening the word file to connect it with Oracle it is not giving me the tab to connect with Oracle.

 

Any idea or steps to connect with BI publisher.

Hello Farooq,

Your question is not really clear, are you trying to establish a connection to Oracle database from BI Publisher ? or you want to upload an RTF template (layout) to your BI Publisher instance.?

Can you elaborate in detail what is your query here?

Hi Aman,

The requirement is to upload the RTF template in the BI publisher, I am not able to upload RTF template.

Hello Farooq,

Are you getting any error when you upload the RTF template?

I am assuming that you have validated your RTF template from the template builder and uploading it as shown in the attached screenshot:

Hi Faroq,

If you are trying to use BI Publisher Desktop plugin, you need to make sure that this is enabled from Word. For this you need to go to Add-ons and enable it.
