BICC : Reset Last Extract Date at PVO Level

Summary

To allow users to reset Last Extract Date to a specific date at PVO Level instead of the current across all offerings level

Content

Currently there are two ways change the Last Extract Date filter within BICCC outside of the built in incremental Logic BICCC has.

1. Reset to Full Extract : You can do this at the PVO level. Or you can do multiple PVOs within an Offering. These are both great features which we use often.

2. Reset the Last Extract Date : This is a feature on the main page which is only available across the BICCC (encompassing all offerings). Although this is a good feature, the fact that its not available at individual PVOs level as well as Offerings level is an impediment to use this feature well especially in growing DB. We would greatly appreciate if this can be added to BICCC.

Thanks

You can try this workaround. It might help with your requirement.

    1) Navigate to Advanced Extract Configuration option for an individual PVO.

    2) Setup the Initial Extract Date .. to the desired Last Extract date

    3) Reset the individual PVO to Full Extact

    Hi @Bharath Raghupathi-Oracle,

However, in this case the comparison would happen with respect to the Creation date of the record, instead of the Last Update Date. Am i right in my understanding?

    @Yogesh Sureshkumar

You can create a job, and, club together the PVO's for which you require a common extract date(or even a single PVO), and, set up the last extract date at the job level. That is another work around.

    hi @Yogesh Sureshkumar

now i have a PVO let say organization unit

i need to create 2 jobs one to get certain organizations and the second for the other organizations

i created 2 different jobs and i added a query filter on the PVO at each job then i scheduled the 2 jobs

and added a prefix to the output name of the files to distinguish them

my question if i need now to reset fo full extraction now the PVO only for one job is it doable ?

or it will affect the 2 jobs and i need to consider it for both output files ?

    is there a solution ?

the use case is that i am extracting data from fusion to 2 different third party apps and each one of the apps see data for one organization and need to integrate specific data for each app but now one of the apps we deleted the data for technical issue and need to integrate again but the other one is working fine from the beginning and runs incremental daily basis we don't need to disturb it and also need to load from scratch for the other app
