Can you publish an agent for subscription without having to navigate the catalog?

Hello,

We're trying to venture into the exciting world of Agents and empowering our users to subscribe to those agents. This is the first time that we've worked towards allowing users to subscribe to agents.

I've read this page which describes having the user navigate the catalog to subscribe to the agent through the "more link".

We're hoping to avoid having users navigate the catalog where possible to prevent exposing them to the seeded content we're not able to use and save them from having to navigate technical folders of reports.

Has anyone else managed to work around this?

Add to Favourites is an option for OTBI and BIP reports so it is not required access to catalog

But for Agents there is no option of Add to Favourites

I've been digging into this problem and I may be able to do it using an action to call a webservice.

Is there suggestions on how to use Webservices within an OTBI session? I think I'd need to know the session ID as a variable. (if that exists)
