object level & data level security for AD users

Question

Hi all,

Currently we are using external table authentication for authentication, object level & data level security.

Now, we have to change it to AD authentication, i have already integrated AD with Obiee 11g in our test environment.

I am able to login as BIAuthor, BIAdministrator, but i want also want to integrate object level and data level security for AD users.

How can i achieve this? can anyone share the steps or any link  for implementing this  security ?

Your AD groups have to be tied to the Application Roles which is where the translation of the AD world into the application world happens. As of that point the Application Roles control all access.
