Hi friends,

My scenario is i will be having a report with budget data coming from ESSBASE cube and the actual data is coming from the ebs.

I do have a consistent BMM model for the actual data which is fine and i can see the results of it in BI. Now i need to combine the budget data from my cube to this existing relational model which has the actual data.

Inturn, i have mapped one of my dimension CCID from the essbase cube to the dimension ccid in the relational model and also i have mapped my period dimension from the cube to my time dimension in my relational model. After that i dragged the budget measure from my cube to the relational fact table where the actual measure exist. Also ensured to set the content tab for the newly created cube LTS in both dim/facts.

Then finally when i tried to compare the analysis with both actual and budget data with the appropriate filters in BI then im not getting any budget data appearing from the cube in the combined analysis. But i can see the actual data populating. Not sure the reason behind the budget data disappearance in the report although i have followed the necessary steps with reference to the below link

http://www.rittmanmead.com/2008/12/adding-essbase-measures-to-relational-obiee-models/

Not sure what could be the missing factor for the disappearance of budget data in BI when compared with the actual data.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Saro

P.s: I can see the budget results in BI from the cube if i perform reporting only on my ESSBASE cube source in BI.(Without involving my relational model)
